Etsy is great......

Etsy is great, I have been with them for a while now and have done okay. etsy is like ebay for crafters. I have never had the time to promote my crocheted goods and art that often and I wish that I had opportunities because I think that my little "shop" would benefit from it.

What is my stuff?
well, you will find unique crocheted items, fantastic and unique drawings and editioned original prints. Everything is made with pride. Although I may find my inspiration from vintage patterns, nature, outlandish outlets and other venues where ideas may come from, all my work is free form and of my own design so that each piece is a work of quirky and freakishly cool work of art whether is be fiber, paper of a combo of the two.

I really love my crocheted capes, right now I have this peach one. Its made of organic cotton and the color is actually callled "circus peanut!" my grandpa used to eat circus peanuts, so the yarn color always makes me smile.

I wish that I could be Pauline, or at least have a cool theme song that's magical and hopeful.

Paper Cutting

so, I have discovered the incredible world of paper cutting. I am really enjoying this venture. Paper cutting is very reminscient of what I already know, woodblock carving/printmaking, but its delicate and serene way give me a depth of peace in my work that I haven't had before.

I hope to explore this beautiful art form more and find a rare jem of happiness in the making
